		<description>Interesting the differences between how Twitter is viewed here (Canada) and say in the UK where Twitter and related apps are making it onto the curriculum.  You can&#039;t fight city hall!  Some places/people embrace change and grow with/learn from it and others will resist change for as long as they can but ultimately resistance will be futile.  Those that try to the contraflow approach run the risk of being left behind and out of touch.  I&#039;m not saying we have to be nerdy about technology but we owe it to ourselves to be realistic.  Like you say.  Time will tell.  It may well be a case of &#039;it was fun while it lasted&#039; or it may well morph into something useful and mainstream (nothing wrong with that).</description>
