One Response to5 Weeks To PodCamp Toronto 2008

  • Mr. Fleet,

How we wish we could make it to PodCamp Toronto, but kindly let us briefly digress…

As followers of your site and RSS Feed, we were humbled to learn that you had included mention of our agency in one of your past presentations.

Kindly accept our apology for not thanking you at the time.

Though we’ve seen this slideshare of yours regarding the 2007 California wildfires from the TalkisCheap unconference, we somehow failed to note mention of the LAFD in your feed or tagcloud.

As such, we offer our belated thanks and warmly welcome you to take advantage of both our achievements and stumblings in any example you might wish to offer of an interactive government entity.

In closing, please know that the eyes of Los Angeles are often on Toronto, as we seek to bridge the digital frontier in helping people lead safer, healthier and more productive lives.

When your travels may bring you to Los Angeles, please let us know. You bring the timbits and we’ll supply the coffee!

    Best wishes at PodCamp Toronto!

Respectfully Yours in Safety and Service,

    Brian Humphrey
    Public Service Officer
    Los Angeles Fire Department
